Concept of Integral Leadership by Jolito Ortizo Padilla

Integral Leadership is based on integral theory by Ken Weber.

"It means an all inclusive framework that draws on the key insights of the world's greatest knowledge traditions. The awareness gained from drawing on all truths and perspective allows the integral thinker to bring new depth, clarity and compassion to every level of human endeavor- from unlocking individual potential to finding new approaches to global scale problems," as defines by the Integral Institute of Sanno Institute of Management.

The method was used by Blair Leadership because it has become increasingly a good measure by which to judge a leader.

An assessment of Tony Blair's integral qualities that can be applied to P-Noy as well as he embarks on governing a difficult country like the Philippines.

An integral politics is an ongoing process in its very early stages, it would be unfair to ask for perfection in its application.The concept brings example on;

The Father and Son relationship that has done well for a country -Singapore. Lee Kuan Yew's son Hsien Loong is prime minister. I saw him when he was interviewed in several Singapore TV channels. You may disagree with me but he knew what to say without being offensive. He undestand nuances in language and showed such a wide scope of knowledge that was only fair to measure him up on his own rather than on his being the son of Lee Kuan Yew.

In Tom Plate's book on Lee Kuan Yew, How to Manage A Nation said his son had a computer disk in his head. He just had an answer to every question put to him. But at the same time he did say that he hoped he would not "smudge the record." The son is measuring up to the job but then as the father said, " he has more resources than I had when I begun."

That is true. Modern day Singapore does owe a lot to Lee Kuan Yew's leadership and it is not just because it is small compared to the Philippines as some Filipinos would answer when the two countries are compared. The fact is it had nothing to start with except as a small piece of land jutting out of Southern Malaysia.

Former Kantachi Suphamongkon, former Thai Foreign Minister, paid homage to the father.

" It has often been said that today the natural resources that a society has in hand are not as important as the knowledge and strategy of its human resources.Singapore is an excellent of this and LKY has made it so. It is a miracle that transformed Singapore from being a small and poor phone booth size sleeping community into one of the worlds most impressive success stories: it was Lee Kuan Yew.

Whether one agrees or disagree with him, his success is on record. He is intellectual and a statesman, one with a vision, one with a strategy and the ability to get things done. Readers will have much to learn from his story.

Integral Leadership book will be out in the market by last week of August....
